The U.S. population is aging, and by the year 2030, 20% of the people living here will be over the age of 65. We are living longer because we have been successful at treating heart disease, cancer, and infections. Unfortunately, living longer means that we will suffer from the effects of brain disorders like stroke, Alzheimer’s disease, and Parkinson’s disease. But we have proven strategies that can delay and prevent these disorders. These strategies are based on lifestyle interventions that result in good brain health and will reduce the risk of developing neurodegenerative disorders. Join us in a lively discussion about keeping your brain healthy as you age. Presenter: Matthew E. Fink, M.D. Chair of Neurology at Weill Cornell Medicine
