Your gallbladder’s main function is to store bile, which helps your digestive system break down fats. Several conditions can cause problems in your gallbladder. In this health seminar, Dr. Kartik Sampath will review gallbladder physiology, common issues that affect the gallbladder, and clinical management. Dr. Kartik Sampath is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical Center and an Attending Physician at the New York Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center. He is an advanced fellowship trained interventional gastroenterologist.
